always buy cathedral city cheese

Never buy any other make of cheese . W e always buy this make of cheese. The mild cheese is better as I do not like strong cheese.

Changed Formulation, and not for the better....

Used to love everything about this Mild cheddar, couldn't get enough of it. It used to be creamy, smooth, tasty, and a deep yellow. It now resembles the Mature version. The company changed the formulation about a year ago. It's now sour, pale, and crumbly. I suppose the company is attempting to appeal to a more 'sophisticated' palate, but if people wanted a mature cheese, they'd buy mature. Will be trying other mild cheddars now to find a replacement. Just wish that Cathedral Cheddar would return to its original Mild formulation and stop being pretentious.
