Each 15 ml of Oral Syrup contains the active ingredients: 120 mg of Extract (as Dry Extract) from Thyme Herb (Thymus Vulgaris L. and Thymus Zygis L., Herb) (DER 7-13:1) Extraction Solvent: Water, 830 mg of Extract (as Liquid Extract) from Marshmallow Root (Althaea Officinalis L.) (DER 12-14:1) Extraction Solvent: Water, Also contains: Methyl Parahydroxybenzoate and Propyl Parahydroxybenzoate, See leaflet for further information

best cough syrup

This is definitely my go to remedy for s troublesome cough. Stops a bad cough at night that keeps me awake!Lozenges are great if you are out and about too.

Works most of the time

I have bought this a few times since it initially came out but the most recent time it was for the dreaded continuous covid cough. Coughing for almost 24 hours continuously with no end in sight, and consequently not getting much sleep at all and feeling utterly miserable, I tried this. It doesn't kick in immediately but after an hour I noticed that I wasn't coughing much at all anymore, maybe one small cough every 20 minutes or so which is a huge improvement. As for the taste, it tastes like what can only be described as liquified pizza herbs, so a bit odd but actually quite pleasant in my personal opinion.

Very herbal taste, may not be to everyones liking, but I found these soothed my coughing fits.
