Bought for first time Christmas,as all the cherry coke was gone,,its now going to be on my shopping list every week,it doesnt have any cola taste at all,its a lovely sweet mixed fruity flavour,gave some to my friend the other day and now shes a convert 10/10
Red Kola by Barrs tastes good
Red Kola is not a cola styled drink. I was a little dubious to begin with because I loved the full fat sugar only version and sadly so many old favourites are lost to the appalling attempts of creating a reduced sugar soft drink. Barrs for me barr...no pun intended...a couple of near misses in their range such as the new Irn Bru and Limeade, Red Kola is my personal favourite, its a light fruity, happy drink. Its low in sugar, way low and tastes surprisingly refreshing...try it, youll either like it or you wont for 75p...lol....its certainly not revolting as one reviewer dramatically stated lol.

Disgusting
I expected it to taste like a stronger, less sweet version of Tizer due to the colouration and the fact it claims to be cola, instead it tasted more like overly sweetened cream soda. If you like cream soda I guess you'd like this but if you don't, you won't like this. Might be good to buy for your kids I guess if they can handle the sweetness, but it's useless for mixing into adult drinks or just drinking to relax. Shame.
