Spicy Prawn Noodles

These delicious noodles flavoured with Chinese five spice and soy sauce are ready in just 30 minutes - perfect for a midweek family meal. Shredded cooked chicken makes a tasty alternative to king prawns.Time and servings

Ingredients
- 200 g of bean sprouts
- 150 g of sugar snap peas
- 2 carrots, cut into thin strips
- 2 tbsp of sunflower oil
- 300 g of egg noodles, thin
- 1 tsp of chinese five spice
- 300 g of king prawns, peeled
- 1 bunch of salad onions, trimmed and sliced
- 2 tbsp of soy sauce
Method
Step 1
Place the noodles in a bowl and cover with boiling water. Leave 10 minutes then drain well.Step 2
Heat the oil in a large non-stick frying pan or wok and fry the carrots and sugar snap peas for 3 minutes. Add the bean sprouts, onions and prawns, sprinkle over the Chinese five spice, toss well and cook for 2 minutes.Step 3
Add the drained noodles, stir-fry for a further 2-3 minutes until piping hot, drizzle with soy sauce and divide between 4 serving bowls.
