Pistachio Cream

Ingredients

  • 150g Pistachio Butter (see previous recipe)
  • 180g Whole Milk
  • 30g Butter
  • 150g White Chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon Icing Sugar

Method

  1. Step 1

    Make Pistachio Butter from our previous 'Trending on Social' recipe.
  2. Step 2

    In a blender, combine 150g Pistachio Butter with half the icing sugar and 50g of the milk. Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides of the blender as needed.
  3. Step 3

    In a separate saucepan, gently heat the remaining milk, sugar, and white chocolate until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth.
  4. Step 4

    Pour the warm milk mixture into the blender with the pistachio butter mixture. Blend until completely smooth and combined.
  5. Step 5

    For extra smooth pistachio cream, pour the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve, pressing the pulp with the back of a spoon to extract as much cream as possible. Discard the remaining pulp.
  6. Step 6

    Pour the collected pistachio cream into an airtight jar and refrigerate until needed.
  7. Step 7

    Spread on toast, mix into yoghurt, or blend into iced coffee and enjoy.
