Ingredients

  • 110 g of milk chocolate
  • 6 tsps of cocoa powder
  • 3 tablespoons of golden syrup
  • 3 tablespoons of caster sugar
  • 50 g of butter
  • 60 g of cherries, cut in half
  • 30 g of sultanas, You can use any dried fruits chopped up such as apricots, dates etc.
  • 225 g of digestive biscuits
  • 30 g of diced apricots
  • 110 g of dark chocolate

Method

  1. Step 1

    Line a baking tray with non stick paper, heat the butter, sugar and the cocoa powder in a pan and melt together.
  2. Step 2

    Stir in the biscuits and the dried fruits you’re using.
  3. Step 3

    Press the tiffin mix into a tin and press down flat.
  4. Step 4

    Melt both chocolates in a microwave together and pour over the tiffin in the tray. Spread evenly on top and allow to cool in a fridge overnight if possible.
  5. Step 5

    Cut into bite size pieces and enjoy.
