Made without flour, these Chocolate Ganache Brownies are a real treat. Super chocolatey, they’re sure to disappear fast!

Ingredients

  • 20 g of cocoa powder
  • 0.5 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 3 eggs
  • 150 g of granulated sugar
  • 50 g of chocolate chips
  • 100 ml of double cream
  • 60 g of butter
  • 400 g of dark chocolate, 150g for the ganache
  • 0.25 tsp of salt

Method

  1. Step 1

    Over a pan of simmering water, melt the chocolate and the butter together.
  2. Step 2

    When the mix is cold, add the vanilla and the sugar and combine well.
  3. Step 3

    In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and salt together then fold in the cocoa powder. Fold this mix into the chocolate mixture.
  4. Step 4

    Bake in a lined 8 inch square baking tray at 170 degrees for 20 minutes.
  5. Step 5

    For the ganache, chop the chocolate into small pieces. Place them into a bowl.
  6. Step 6

    Warm the cream in a pan without boiling it. Pour it over the chocolate and beat it until smooth and glossy.
  7. Step 7

    When the brownie mix has cooled, pour the ganache over the top and then top with the chocolate chips.
  8. Step 8

    Refrigerate for an hour, then remove from the tin and cut into squares to serve.
