Katsu curry meal kit
The comforting classic that hits your soul with a bang. Cook up our iconic katsu for two with the help of this starter kit
Shop
- Chicken breasts 2
- Flour 2tbs
- Egg 1
- Vegetable oil 75ml
- Coconut milk 200ml
- Rice 150g
- Mixed salad leaves
Cook
- Cook the rice according to the packet instructions, then set aside
- Butterfly the chicken breasts into two, then place the whisked egg, flour and breadcrumbs into separate bowls
- Dip each piece of chicken first in the flour, then the egg and finally the breadcrumbs, coating both well
- Shake the can of coconut milk, then in a saucepan add the curry paste + coconut milk and bring to a simmer
- Heat oil in a frying pan and shallow fry your chicken until golden
- Once fully cooked, slice and arrange on two plates alongside the rice, pouring the katsu sauce over the chicken + rice
- Serve with side salad, tossed in the salad dressing
