Specially designed for your baby’s first sips, our First Cup sippy cups help your baby to develop tipping and sipping skills whilst preventing spills. This small and lightweight, 190ml training sippy cup features a flip-down, free-flow spout that allows liquid to flow easily when baby wants to drink, but flips closed to keep the cup fully spill-proof between sips. The durable, long-lasting, one-piece spout is gentle on little mouths but tough enough to withstand tiny teeth. From around 6 months of age experts recommended that babies should be introduced to open-cup drinking to help prevent tooth decay, and to help promote proper tongue placement and oral motor skills. By using a free-flow drinking cup, your baby will learn they don’t need to suck to release the liquid and will subsequently learn important tipping and sipping skills in preparation for open cup drinking. To further support the development of their grown-up drinking skills, our trainer sippy cup comes with easy-grip handles designed for tiny hands. Perfect for training, the flip-down spout and tight-fitting lid ensures this training cup is fully spill-proof for less mess at home and when on-the-go. As the cup lid is tight fitting, to simplify opening, we recommend, you should flip up the spout and gently twist the lid to release any trapped air inside. Featuring only two parts, our First Cup sippy cup is super easy to clean - either in hot, soapy water or on the top shelf of the dishwasher. It's safe for steam, UV, or microwave sterilisation, too. WARNING!
• Always use this product with adult supervision. Accidents have occurred when babies have been left alone with drinking equipment due to the baby falling or if the product has disassembled.
• Never use feeding teats, spouts or straws as a soother.
• Continuous and prolonged sucking of fluids will cause tooth decay. Tooth decay in young children can occur even when non-sweetened fluids are used. This can occur if the baby is allowed to use the cup for long periods through the day and particularly through the night, when saliva flow is reduced or if it is used as a soother.
• Always check food temperature before feeding. Heating in a microwave oven may produce localised high temperatures. Take extra care when microwave heating.
• Always stir heated food to ensure even heat distribution and test the temperature before serving.
• Throw away at the first signs of damage or weakness.
• Keep components not in use out of reach of children.
• Never attach to cords, ribbons, laces or loose parts of clothing. The child can be strangled.
• To avoid scalding, do not use the cup with very hot liquid.
• When making up a feed, follow the formula milk manufacturer’s
instructions.
• Bottle hoods can pose a suffocation hazard - keep out of the reach of children.
• Do not use the cup or any part of the cup as a toy.

Cleaning & sterilising
- Before first use, disassemble and clean the product and then place the components in boiling water for 5 min. This is to ensure hygiene.
- Clean before each use. This is to ensure hygiene.
- Always wash the product immediately after use. Wash in warm soapy water and rinse in clean water or use a dishwasher (top shelf only).
- Do not clean with solvents or harsh chemicals. Do not allow product to come into contact with oil based foods (e.g. oil/tomato based sauces) as staining will occur.
- Suitable for sterilisation by steam (electric and microwave), boiling or cold water/liquid solution.

Use
- Not suitable for use in a oven or a microwave oven conventional combination with the grill feature switched on.
- If warming the liquid do not heat in a microwave with the first cup sealed. Remove the lid.
- Not suitable for hot or fizzy (carbonated) drinks.
- Inspect before each use and pull the drinking spout in all directions. Throw away at the first signs of damage or weakness. The spout should not be detached from the product. Do not store or leave in direct sunlight or near a source of heat.
