Cooking Guidelines
Boil - From Chilled. Wrap the haggis (with casing and clips as found) tightly in tin foil. Place the haggis in a large pan of boiling water so that the haggis is just covered in water. Bring to a bubbling boil and then reduce the heat and gently simmer for 45 minutes. Top up with more boiling water if required. Once ready, remove from the pan and carefully remove the tin foil. Carefully slice open the haggis casing to serve the steaming hot haggis.; Cooking Instructions - General. Important - This is a raw product and must be fully cooked prior to consumption. Prior to cooking remove haggis from outer bag.

Remove casing and clips and ensure haggis is piping hot before serving.; Microwave - From Chilled. Remove the haggis from all packaging, including casing and metal clips. Slice into chunks and place in a microwavable dish. Cover with clingfilm, pierce film and cook on full power (800W) for 3 minutes. Remove dish from microwave, carefully peel back film as hot steam will be generated. Gently break up haggis with a fork, re-cover with the clingfilm and return to the microwave to cook for a further 2 minutes. Once ready, carefully remove the film due to more hot steam and serve.; Oven cook - From Chilled. Preheat oven to approximately 190°C (170°C for fan assisted) / Gas Mark 5. Wrap the haggis (with casing and clips as found) tightly in tin foil. Place the haggis in an oven proof dish and fill with boiling water to half way up the haggis. Cover with a lid and place in the preheated oven for 75 minutes. Check the water level from time to time during cooking and top up if required. Once ready, remove from the dish and carefully remove the tin foil. Carefully slice open the haggis casing to serve the steaming hot haggis.; Shallow Fry - From Chilled.
