Cooking Guidelines
Oven cook - From Chilled. Oven 2.5 - 3hrs. 190°C / Fan 170°C / Gas 5.
- Remove all packaging.
- If desired marinate meat with seasoning.
- Preheat oven 190°C / Fan 170°C / Gas 5.
- Heat 5ml of vegetable oil in frying pan, add meat and cook until meat is brown on all sides. Transfer to a heatproof casserole dish and add approximately 300g diced potatoes, 300g diced turnips, 100g chopped coriander, 3 chopped garlic cloves, 1 diced onion and 450ml of water or meat stock.
- Cover and place in a preheated oven for 1 hour per 500g plus 30 mins or alternatively over a low heat on the hob for 1 hour per 500g plus 30 mins, stirring occasionally. - After cooking: Allow to rest for 15 minutes before serving.
