Shana Shredded Coconut comes from hand-selected coconuts, picked from farms that maintain the highest quality. The white flesh from the coconuts is then shred with the greatest care and quickly frozen, to ensure the taste and nutritional goodness is retained.

Shredded Coconut is known for its wide use in many sweet and savoury dishes. Shana Shredded Coconut may be used immediately from frozen, making them a tidy and convenient way of enjoying the fruit at its best.

Our fruits are frozen close to the time of harvest to ensure they retain a higher level of vitamins and nutrients. Absolutely no water is added during the IQF (Individual Quick Freezing) process, providing you with nature's best.

Frozen into one single block

So you have to defrost and use the whole packet all at once

Brilliant!

This is fantastic, once defrosted its just like freshly grated coconut. So much better than desiccated. Love it.

Excellent

Keralan cooking uses a lot of fresh coconut and this is an excellent alternative to preparing from a whole nut, which can't always be found.

I defrost this and use this for all Kerala dishes that need fresh coconut. Im glad at least Morrisons is selling it. Its perfect and convenient.
