NOT Beef & Ale
I never buy ale, but do love a good pie. Thought Id get this as a mid week cheat. Problem is that you still need to add the ale. Absolutely no point in providing me with a tomato and herb mix and zero ale flavour. False advertising at its best.
Delicious!
This is so nice shame it’s not in stock more often…I use in a slow cooker on low it’s one of my favourite packet mixes ! I will always try to buy again when in stock .
BEEF AND ALE STEW MIX
Really nice and tasty ..... become a staple in our house .... easy meal when stuck in slow cooker for the day while working ... meat falls apart. Totally recommended.
Not with Beer
Use a small red wine instead of ale.The taste with ale is horrible had to throw it away.
Tasty
Made a beef stew with this mix and it was delicious, will definitely buy this in the future.
Good and easy curry
I substituted the chopped tomato for passata and added frozen butternut squash instead of potato and found it very tasty. Although it says chicken it wouldn’t be bad to use beef.
