Recipes

For our recipe you will need...
1 tbs olive oil
1 onion, sliced
175g (6oz) lean bacon, sliced
4 skinless chicken breasts
125g (5oz) baby button mushrooms
300ml (1/2 pint) cold water

Directions...
1. Pre-heat oven to 190ºC, 375ºF, Gas Mark 5.
2. Heat the oil, fry the onion and bacon for 4-5 minutes, until golden brown. Add the chicken and brown for 3 minutes on both side. Transfer to a casserole dish and add the mushrooms.
3. Mix the sachet contents with the water and stir into the casserole dish. Cover and cook for in the oven for 1 hour, until tender and cooked through.

For a little inspiration...
Ideal with roast potatoes and fine green beans with freshly ground Schwartz Black Pepper. Try replacing the bacon with pancetta or using peeled shallots instead of sliced onions.
