Please ensure that the product is piping hot throughout before serving.

No need to soak. Rinse thoroughly before cooking. Place 100g of beans into a large saucepan with 500ml of water. Place the pan on the medium hob ring over a high heat. Bring to the boil and boil for 10 minutes. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 60 minutes, until the beans have softened but are slightly firm to the bite. Drain thoroughly, rinse and use as required.

great for stew

I added these to a beef stew in the slow cooker at 9am and by 6pm they were perfectly cooked. Really tasty and healthy.

You could cook this until the end of days and they'd still be chalky and hard
