Makes 6 cookies
Just add:
25g unsalted butter, 20ml cold water and willpower (so you don't eat them all at once!)
What you get:
A sachet of cookie mix
What you'll need:
25g Unsalted butter (plus a bit extra for greasing)
20ml of Cold water
A wooden spoon
A mixing bowl
A baking tray
A wire cooling rack
How to make perfect cookies:
Cooking appliances vary. These instructions are given as a guide.
1. Set your oven to 190°C/Fan 170°C/Gas Mark 5 and leave it to warm up.
2. Grease a baking tray with a little butter.
3. Now, empty the cookie mix into a mixing bowl and add the softened unsalted butter and 20ml of cold water.
4. Mix together to form a soft dough then divide it into six equal sized balls and roll between your hands.
5. Place them on the greased baking tray, about 5cm apart and flatten very slightly.
6. Place the tray in the centre of your oven and bake for 11 to 12 minutes, or until your cookies are crisp on the outside.
7. When they're ready, take your cookies out of the oven and leave them to cool on a wire rack. Just try to resist eating them straight away!
Top tip: If you like your cookies chewy, take them out of the oven a little early and leave them on the hot baking tray. They'll carry on cooking slowly on the tray, without the intense heat of the oven.
