Change of recipie in the batter
Previously these tasted so nice but recently we noticed the uncooked colour to be alot darker and when cooked it was clear they have changed something in the batter..Taste so bland now! Was my favourite
Reasonable for price
Honestly what can you expect for a pound? Is it amazing, not at all but it tastes reasonable and rises a good amount..if your expecting something special Id probably avoid it but if you fancy something quick and hassle free that is filling and taste good youll be happy with this
This item was sent as a substitute for the Aunt Bessie toad in the hole. I really wouldnt buy this item again. Sausage are very small and its not as nice as Aunt Bessies.
I found it very tasty and the batter was light and cooked well. Sausages were small but nice. Will buy again.
I was feeling confident when buying this toad in the hole from reading the reviews. Unfortunately my experience wasnt so positive. The whole thing stuck to the bottom of the foil so once it was removed, it was just a soggy torn apart mess. Shame as I was looking forward to it
Really enjoy these. Bargain price but very tasty. Lovely with mash, veg and gravy. A regular in my weekly shopping.
