The vineyards are around 20 years old and are located in the Lima Valley area, clos to Ponte de Lima, where the Loureiro grape is at its best

The Lima Valley allows fresh Atlantic breezes in from the coast, giving a fresher summer climate and vibrant light white wines are the result

Vinification Details
After a pre-fermentation maceration at low temperature the grapes are pressed and the juice is clarified. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperature of 16º C, for two to three weeks

Disappointing

Vinho verde should be fizzy. This is fizzles. This is bland, totally average and totally forgettable, I recommend importing 'Muralhas' or ' O tal vinho da Lixa', it would be a total success!! A complete failure and miss on this one whoever is advising you on the 'best'... vinho verde ' Will never buy again. I am Portuguese and I should know.

Great example of the Vinho Verde style

I've tried a few of "The Best" wines, and so far this is my favourite. It's crisp, dry and refreshing and not too high in alcohol, a lovely drink for summer.
