Like this lightly oaked Malbec made in partnership with world renowned Argentine producer, The Zuccardi Family. We make this wine using grapes grown at more than 900m above sea level in the dry and stony Uco valley, one of Argentina's most premium wine regions.

Santa Julia was created in honour of the only daughter of José Zuccardi, current director of Familia Zuccardi Winery.

Uco Valley vineyards are planted at elevations between 945 and 1402m above sea level with a drip irrigation used. The grapes are then destemmed and crushed. They undergo cold maceration for 5-7 days before classic vinification with indigenous yeast and fermented at 77°F (25-27°C). Then macerated for 20 days with periodic remontage and delestage. Part of the wine is then aged in French oak barrels.
