Cooking Guidelines
Cooking appliances vary. These instructions are given as a guide. Please ensure that the product is piping hot throughout before serving. Ensure product is thoroughly cooked, juices run clear and that no pink remains. Do not reheat.
Pre-heat your oven as 190°C/ Fan 170°C/ Gas Mark 5 (20 min per kilo plus 70 min). Remove sleeve. Leave the crown in its tray and ovenproof bag. Place foil tray on a baking tray and place in the centre of the oven for the time specified on the front of the pack. For crispy bacon, cut open the top of the bag vertically, exposing the bacon 20 minutes before the end of the cooking time. Allow to rest for 20 minutes before removing from the bag and tray, then carve.
