Am always worried about animal welfare, especially with chickens and pigs, especially from abroad, and so it is good to see a Ham with the RSPCA Assured stamp of approval!

Lovely ham Nice and thick not plasticy and processed like some ham.Has a nice taste ,will buy again

The dog was happy

Looked good, but had so much fat / gristle running through the three slices in the packet that half of it ended up in the dog. Very disappointing given this is supposedly "The Best".

Very surprisingly bad

Perhaps a one off? This is the fourth ham Ive had from The Best range. All the others have been 4 or 5 stars. However, this one was chewy, lacking flavour, and had a piece of gristle in two slices that wasnt visible but was noticed by two people in sandwiches.

OUTSTANDING

I am in my sixties and I have had this ham about six times . I wanted to check the consistency,. Now that I have I can say that this is the best boiled ham I have ever eaten. I defy you to open the packet and not eat the contents in one go or am I just greedy old geezer.?
