The inspiration behind The Best wine collection comes from our wine experts, who are passionate about sourcing exceptional quality wines from the world's finest wine producers. Like this Shiraz made in partnership with Riebeek Valley Wine Co in South Africa's up and coming Swartland region. We use a very small portion of oaked wine in our blend to give some added richness to this elegant and delicately spicy Shiraz.

Regional Information
When Archbishop Desmond Tutu dubbed South Africa 'the rainbow nation' he wasn't kidding. Not only is it culturally diverse, it has more species of plants than just about anywhere else on earth. Winemakers know better than anyone the importance of protecting this complex environment and the care and attention they show their vineyards shines through in wines packed with a rainbow of flavours.

Lovely fruity wine

Looked at this as we hadn’t chosen before so tried it on the hoof - found it very pleasant, didn’t make me pull the ‘yuk wine face’ - as lovers of Shiraz (and we’ve had shed-loads) I would defo buy again

Bought as part of dine in deal and this was not a pleasant wine. A very odd after taste and just generally not a smooth wine - made me wince. Hopefully will be changed on the dine in deal soon!

wouldnt recommend

We had this as part of the meal deal, it was awful. Both my husband and I couldnt drink it. Only gave a one star because the bottle looked nice. Last time we had the Rioja with the meal deal and it was lovely.

Not Morrisons best

Unpleasant taste. Have had really nice red wines on this dine in offer but this was definitely not one of them

not worthy of the best range

this is a lighter style than the Aussie Shiraz. More of a cross between a Pinot noir and Shiraz in body and taste and didnt have the good bits of either. Buy the excellent Margaret river Shiraz instead. Wine was ok but not for me.
