Morrisons The Best wines are born out of a collaboration between our wine experts and our most trusted producers. Each vintage we blend the best parcels of grapes to bring you a fresh take on the world's most loved wines. Like this unoaked Grüner Veltliner made in partnership with top producer Markus Huber. We blend this wine to be a vibrant refreshing style with a stony mineral finish.

The Huber family has wine growing roots dating back more than 220 years. Today the winery is in its 10th generation and Markus Huber started making wines at his family winery in Austria's Traisental valley when he was just 23. Since taking over the reins from his father in 2000, his wines have won multiple awards, earning Markus a reputation as one of the greatest young starts of a new generation of Austrian winemakers.

Grapes are harvested from 20 year old vines (yield: 45hl/ha), crushed, cooled, then left in tank for skin contact for 4 hours before they are pressed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks (at 18°C) and lasts 10 days. The wine then spends 3 months on lees in stainless steel tanks
