Intriguing Wine

Not heard of Granache Blanc before so was intrigued by this new variety. Finally got to sample it tonight. Very intense and complex taste with peach and with a definite savoury spice taste. As such Food matching is hard but most reviews of this grape indicate spicy dishes such as curry, Chinese or Thai. I did a nice spicy peanut chicken satay and it was a perfect match! Definitely a wine to complement heat and spice though could be overpowering with subtler favoured foods.
