Pre-heat your oven as shown. Remove all packaging. Make a deep cross in the top surface of the cheese. Wrap loosely in tin foil and place on a baking tray in the centre of the oven. Unwrap tin foil, peel back top surface of cheese and stir gently if required. Do not reheat.

Recently this has been very nicely mature on arrival with room for a little more maturation in the fridge. A good creamy Camembert flavour.
Delicious and creamy camembert. Enjoy it on rye toast with chilli jam or inside a crepe with roasted cherry tomatoes & thyme. If you wish to ruin good cheese by baking it, you are better going for something of lesser quality
Dont bake it - unfair reviews!
Lets just clear this up first - it clearly states on the webpage not suitable for baking so stop slating it even after reading that and STILL going on to bake it - youve found out why its not suitable, your fault its vile, not the cheeses. As an unbaked and its natural glorious state cheese its very good, leave it out to warm before slicing so flavour and texture develops properly. Eaten with fresh warm bread its very good, however I prefer mine a little stronger and in my face. But as a cheese its lovely and ticks most of the boxes for me. So stop baking the poor thing and enjoy it for what it is - creamy, with an underlying strength and depth. A lovely effort
Nice and creamy
I've never tried baking with this camembert and I understand you shouldn't, but on a slice of sourdough toast or oat cake it tastes really good. Nice and creamy and not too salt.
Accidentally bought this instead of another brand, once baked its so lumpy and eggy. nothing like how it's supposed to be.
