Taste: Citrus and tropical fruit flavours with a hint of minerality

Cooler than their neighbours, the vineyards that produce the grapes in this wine are planted high up on a farm in the rolling hills of South Africa's rugged Swartland region. The farm was built in 1948 with the principles of hard work and fairness as its core, values that ultimately contributed to its achievement of Fairtrade status in 2009. A portion of the sales of this delicious, lightly oaked Chardonnay contributes to the welfare of the farm's employees.
