How to Store
Keep refrigerated below 4°C. Use within 24 hours of opening. Do not exceed the date shown. Suitable for home freezing.

Freeze as soon as possible and within the date indicated. Best within 3 months. Defrost thoroughly in the refrigerator and use the same day. Once thawed, do not refreeze.

Place product in packaging on a plate. Defrost thoroughly in the refrigerator before cooking, ensuring there are no ice crystals in the body cavity. Once defrosted, keep refrigerated and cook within 24 hours.

This free range turkey comes from producers inspected to RSPCA welfare standards by the RSPCA’s independently certified farm assurance scheme.

Cooking appliances vary. These instructions are given as a guide. Please ensure that the product is piping hot throughout before serving. Ensure product is thoroughly cooked, that juices run clear and that no pink colour remains. If product is frozen, defrost thoroughly and cook as chilled.

OVEN FROM CHILLED
Pre-heat your oven to 190ºC/Fan 160ºC/Gas Mark 5.
Remove from the fridge 1 hour before cooking. Remove outer packaging leaving the turkey crown in the provided foil tray with drip pad. Brush the skin with a little oil or melted butter. Place the crown in its tray onto a deep-sided baking tray and cover loosely with foil. Place in the centre of the oven for the time shown on the label on front of pack. Baste occasionally during cooking. Remove foil for the final 40 minutes of cooking to allow the skin to brown. To check if the crown is cooked, insert a skewer into the deepest part of the crown, if the juices run clear the crown is cooked. If the juices are pink, return to the oven and check every 20 minutes until the juices run clear. Once cooked, remove from the oven, cover with
foil and allow crown to rest for 45 minutes before carving.
