Storage And Usage
Keep refrigerated. Use within 2 days of opening. Do not exceed the date shown. Suitable for home freezing.
Freeze as soon as possible and within the date indicated. Best within 3 months. Defrost thoroughly in the refrigerator and use the same day. Once thawed, do not refreeze.

Cooking Guidelines

Pre-heat your oven as 190°C/ Fan 170°C/ Gas Mark 5. Remove card and plastic packaging from the gammon. Place the gammon in a baking tray. Pat dry the rind and coat with small amount of oil and salt for extra crispy crackling. Loosely cover over the gammon baking tray with foil and cook for 2 hours 30 minutes in pre-heated oven as indicated. Remove the loosely placed foil from the gammon and cook at higher 240°C/ Fan 220°C/ Gas Mark 6-7 for an extra 30 minutes or until the crackling turns crispy. Remove from the oven and rest for 10 minutes. Remove strings and carve.
