ok
Wine was ok. Found it hard going and took a while to mellow. Agree its better with food but personally not for me. My score was 5 out of 10 so would not recommend overall.
Gorgeous
Great value classy wine
Excellent Piemontese red wine
A classic wine from a very good co-operative of growers in a classic wine region. Good balance of fruit and acid but I would adivse buying it to have with food, especially Italian food, rather than just as a drink on its own. The dryness works well with pasta, salami, cheeses, etc.
Very good price and quality
Barbera d’Asti
Barbera from where?
Average product. Smells, looks and tastes as any average cheap wines sold in any supermarket. It should be a superior one produced in limited vineyards in the Asti area, Piedmont. This was the main reason I bought it, although I was also enticed by the reduction. Unfortunately, it's another no no. No sweetness, no velvet. I could have given 2 stars if it wasn't from where it says it comes from.
Gorgeous
This is a truly lovely wine, full of sunshine and happiness. Deep in colour and rich yet smooth in taste.
