The inspiration behind the Best wine collection comes from our wine experts, who are passionate about sourcing exceptional quality wines from the world's finest wine producers. Like this Amarone produced in partnership with top Venetian producer Cantina di Soave. Hand picked grapes are dried for around 3 months and we age the resulting wine in large oak barrels for 24 months before bottling.

Taste: Rich and intense with flavours of black cherry and vanilla, a velvety texture and a spicy finish.

overpriced

Amarone is a classic Italian wine, but this morrisons version isn't as good as I was expecting. Buy if on offer.

nothing special.

Not worth the price tag, maybe the 2014 was as advertised but I received the 2017 wont be buying again.

Value for money

This encapsulates what is so great about a good Amarone.  Smooth, elegant and with a well-controlled raisin burst of dried fruit. This beauty could hold a good fight amongst £30 offerings. Well done Morries and take a bow.

This is a great price for Amarone and this is definitely one of the best well worth the it

Good value for a wonderful wine.

This is our go to wine at Morrisons. Costs a bit more but blimey it's worth it. This is fantastic wine so please give it a try and let me know if you agree!
