RECIPE CHANGE
The sausages have been reformulated, i purchased these as they were 97% pork with no added sugar or dextrose, now these are 90% pork with more added ingredients like the cheaper alternatives. shame really.
Not 97% pork as advertised!
I wish I read the reviews first - yet another sausage going down in pork content. Package arrived is only 90% + rice flour!
Perfect! Never change!
It's hard to find easy low carb, high fat, gluten free snacks, and these are lovely. I really like how they taste. Currently the only filler is pea flour, which is perfect - I hate it when sausages have too much potato in them, but the texture and taste of these is far superior to potato sausages. Nice to have the extra collagen from the casings too. I'm cooking for one so I bake the whole pack and then take them out of the fridge and into the microwave for the rest of the week. Works great.
Customers can\x27t read what Morrison\x27s state!
The 1st post by "villager" is only an opinion. To me the sausages taste lovely and I can believe the label (97%) pork. Then a post by "Itskath", however they have a red traffic light as they are 7% fat which is not low fat because it's over 5%. The fat gives taste. So you were looking for low fat sausage and chose one with a red label? Then "Cinthia" claims that Morrisons do not list the ingredients however if you scroll down the page everything is clearly listed. So what makes a Gluten Free sausage? Basically the "filler" in UK sausages is usually "rusks" which is breadcrumbs. These Morrisons Sausages have rice and potato flour. My pack this week also adds potato flour to the ingredients. The sausages still taste brilliant however I would expect this from a supermarket that comes from "upp norf" The Sausages are excellent, thank you Morrisons
Beware \- only 90% pork
There has been a silent reformulation of this recipe. Instead of 97% pork, the ingredients are now similar to those given for the pack of 12 Best chipolatas. There are far more ultra-processed ingredients in the recipe than given here; I cannot recommend these chipolatas in their current form, though I would have given the old recipe 5 stars.
Tasty!
These are tasty, and great for breakfast. Love that they're low carb as well. Don't know what the other reviewer is talking about as the ingredients are listed on the website.
