Cooking Guidelines

Cooking appliances vary. These instructions are given as a guide. Please ensure that the product is piping hot throughout before serving. Do not reheat.

OVEN FROM CHILLED
Pre-heat your oven as 200°C/Fan 180°C/Gas Mark 6. Remove all packaging and place the Gas 6 sachets to one side.

TURKEY - Transfer the contents of the pouch into an ovenproof dish and cover with foil. Cook in the centre of the oven for 50 minutes, basting halfway through cooking time. Remove from oven and rest for 5 minutes before serving. Slice and serve with the chicken gravy.

GAMMON - Transfer the contents of the pouch into an ovenproof dish and cover with foil. Cook in the centre of the oven for 60 minutes, basting halfway through cooking time. 5 minutes before the end of the cooking time, remove from the oven, discard the foil and drain off any cooking juices. Open the sachet of glaze, drizzle over the gammon and return to the oven, uncovered, for the final 5 minutes. Remove from oven and rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

BEEF - Transfer the contents of the pouch into an ovenproof dish and cover with foil. Cook in the centre of the oven for 40 minutes. Turn the beef and baste with gravy half way through cooking. Remove from oven and rest for 5 minutes before serving. Remove strings before slicing and serving.

HOB- 2-3 min CHICKEN GRAVY - Open the gravy sachet and empty into a small saucepan. Heat gently and stir regularly. Add a spoon or two of cookout juices from the turkey if gravy is too thick. Serve with turkey.
