Oven cook - From Chilled


Cooking appliances vary. These instructions are given as a guide. Please ensure that the product is piping hot throughout before serving. Ensure product is thoroughly cooked and that juices run clear and that no pink colour remains. If frozen, defrost thoroughly and cook as chilled. Not suitable for microwave cooking or cooking from frozen.
Pre-heat oven to 150°C/300°F/Gas mark 2. In a hob proof casserole dish, fry the heart and chosen vegetables in oil or butter until starting to brown. Add enough stock to just cover the contents. Cover the dish and place in the oven. Braise for 2 hours 30 minutes to 3 hours. If needed, thicken with flour.
