Great on own - or a bit of Kerrygold Butter i use
Black on ends and sides
As Sainsbury’s have stopped doing the organic potatoes we like, we decided to give these a try. Won’t again, at least 25% of each Potato was black and had to be cut off and thrown. Also taste was bland. Poor quality control.
I've been buying these potatoes for over a year and have been satisfied with the product, but the past 4 times I've purchased them they've been really bad full of black bruises on each end of the potatoes, I think I'll have to find an alternative.
Sprouting on day of delivery
Shame I had to throw most of these away as they were sprouting two days before their sell by date!!
watery when raw
I found these very difficult to peel. Twice Ive bought them from store and online. The variety they use for organic is a very wet potato under the skin. Even without water when peeling they become extremely slippery and dont cook nice either.
These potatoes are a great all rounder that's great mashed, roasted how ever you want to cook them. If there's a few on the large size they make a great jacket potato. When it comes to potatoes organic really is the best and worth paying a little extra for.
