Directions for use
To cook in oven:
Standard ovens: Do not exceed 200°C/400°F/Gas Mark 6.
Fan assisted ovens: Do not exceed 180°C/350°F/Gas Mark 4.
Pre-heat oven, season food as usual. Shake a tablespoon of flour inside the bag to prevent hot juices splashing. Place meat in the bag and tie loosely with one of the ties provided ensuring that there is plenty of air inside the bag to help your food brown. Place in a deep roasting tin and cut off one corner from the bag to allow the steam to escape. Cooking instructions are given as a guide only.
Cooking guide for standard ovens:
Beef - Temperature: 200°C/400°F/Gas 6, Time: 25 mins per 500g plus 25 mins extra
Lamb - Temperature: 190°C/375°F/Gas 5, Time: 25 mins per 500g plus 25 mins extra
Pork - Temperature: 190°C/375°F/Gas 5, Time: 30 mins per 500g plus 30 mins extra
Veal - Temperature: 200°C/400°F/Gas 6, Time: 25 mins per 500g plus 25 mins extra
Poultry - Temperature: 190°C/375°F/Gas 5, Time: 20 mins per 500g plus 20 mins extra
