1. Allow 1 bag of rice for persons. Place an unopened bag of rice in 1 litre of boiling water (salt may be added if required).
2. Cover and simmer for 12-15 minutes or until the rice is tender.
3. Using a fork, lift the bag by its loop from the pan and drain well.
4. Cut open the bag.
