How to store
Keep Frozen SHOULD BE -18ºC OR COLDER. Once thawed, do not refreeze.

How to defrost
Leave the turkey in the bag. Defrost thoroughly in a refrigerator on a deep dish or tray before cooking and use the same day. Defrost in a refrigerator for 89-101 hours. Preparation once defrosted: Remove all packaging. Ensure body cavity is free from ice crystals and legs are flexible. If using stuffing, only stuff the neck cavity.

Cooking Guidelines

How to cook
Cooking appliances vary. These instructions are given as a guide. Please ensure that the product is piping hot throughout before serving. Do not reheat. Not suitable for cooking from frozen or microwave cooking. Ensure product is thoroughly cooked, juices run clear and that no pink colour remains.

OVEN FROM CHILLED-20 min per kilo+ 105 min
Pre-heat your oven as 180ºC/Fan 160ºC/ Gas Mark 4. Remove all packaging. Prior to cooking, remove neck and check body cavities and remove giblet pack. Place turkey in a roasting tin, rub the skin with oil or butter (optional). Place uncovered turkey in roasting tin in the centre of the oven. Cook for 20 minutes per kilo plus 105 minutes. After 1 hour, cover loosely with foil, ensuring foil is tucked under edges of roasting tin to keep moisture in. Return to the oven and continue cooking. Baste turkey occasionally during cooking process (typically 2-4 times depending on the size). After cooking time, cover with kitchen foil and allow to rest in a warm place for 30 minutes before carving. Always check that the product is cooked throughout, and juices run clear with no pink colour remaining.
