excellent and good value
Excellent for slow cooking dishes
Not for me
Bought for a quick casserole but wish I hadn't bothered. Usually I get the fresh diced beef which is good but this wasn't. I found the beef tough and fatty and in the end we all just ate the dumplings and gravy and left the meat. Won't be buying again.
Sceptical but a convert
I'm not one for buying frozen meat, always think it's the lesser of the options. I was more than happy however with this beef. Used it straight from frozen in my slow cooker and added veg from the Morrison's Stew Pack, got 3 good sized meals out of it and very tender flavoursome meat. Will buy again.
Great For The Slow Cooker
I've bought this several times and always found it to be lovely lean beef, and beautifully tender when cooked slowly. Put it in the slow cooker with some wonky carrots and onions for a really tasty stew. I always keep a bag in the freezer now.
Give it a go, it will not disappoint
I ventured into frozen options because 1) my fridge is small and 2) frozen ingredients can serve as a great back up option 3) you can get more for your money. Upon trying this for the first time I was delighted! I use it to make stews along with the frozen casserole veg and it is just delicious. Just add stock and tin potatoes.
Best beef in a while
I hardly buy beef even though I love it because I'm not confident in cooking it because its difficult to make it tender but bought this and gave it a go in a stew and the meat fell apart it was perfect
