Adults only (18 years and over): For diarrhoea associated with IBS, which has been diagnosed by a doctor. 2 tablets to be taken initially, followed by 1 tablet after each loose motion, or as previously directed by your doctor. Do not take more than 6 tablets in any 24 hours. You can take this medicine for up to 2 weeks for repeated attacks, but do not take for any one attack lasting longer than 48 hours. If your symptoms change, worsen or are not improved after 2 weeks, consult your doctor. Do not take more than directed. Loperamide works mainly on the gut but too much can cause serious heart problems and have opioid effects.
Do not take more medicine than the label tells you to.

For the relief of acute diarrhoea in adults and children aged 12 years and over. It can also be used by adults of 18 years and over for the relief of short term diarrhoea associated with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), which has been previously diagnosed by a doctor.
Dosage: For oral use. Allow the tablets to dissolve in the mouth.
