Third time's the charm.

The first time I purchased these, they were quite nice. Firm, flavourful, and a generous portion in the tin. The second time I purchased them, I had a tin that was mostly stems which was gross. Having bought them a third time because I wanted to know if it was a one off, we were satisfied the previous purchase was a fluke. The rating would be higher, but I'm still slightly put off if I think about the tangled mass of stems.

PERFECT TINNED BEANS

If you want al dente veg then buy fresh. These are perfectly cooked for those who like their veg tender and not raw.

No teeth required - very mushy

thought we would try tinned vegetables as a way of supplementing our fresh produce. These were disappointing , almost grey, horribly overcooked. If we cook from fresh we try and eat our beans al dente. These were a million miles away. We added them to a mixed bean salad, so couldn't face pickling them out, but won't be rushing to buy them again.
