Recipes
Just add:
1 medium egg, 25g melted unsalted butter, 25ml cold water and willpower (so you don't eat them all at once!)
What you'll need:
1 medium egg
25g melted unsalted butter
25ml cold water
A mixing bowl
A wooden spoon
A 20cm square baking tin
A little butter for greasing
How to make soft, fudgy Brownies:
Cooking appliances vary. These instructions are given as a guide.
1. Set your oven to 180°C / 160°C Fan / Gas mark 4 and leave it to warm up.
2. Grease your baking tin with a little butter - this will stop your brownie from sticking.
3. Put your brownie mix into a bowl then add the egg, melted butter and water.
4. Beat well with wooden spoon for 1 minute.
5. Now, spoon the mix into your tray and spread it out evenly, pressing it into all four corners.
6. Place it in the centre of your oven and cook for 18 minutes. When it's ready, take it out of the oven and leave it to cool in the tin. Once cooled, divide equally into 12 brownies.
7. Then just try and resist for as long as you can!
