Cooking Guidelines
Oven cook - From Chilled. Cooking appliances vary. These instructions are given as a guide. Please ensure that the product is piping hot throughout before serving. If product is frozen, defrost thoroughly and cook as chilled.
Do not reheat. Please remove all packaging before cooking/defrosting.
Pre-heat your oven to 170°C/325°F/Gas Mark 3. Remove from packaging and heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan over a medium heat. Fry the ox cheek over a medium heat for 1-2 minutes until sealed on all sides, then place in a casserole dish, cover with beef stock and cook in oven for 2 hours 30 minutes - 3 hours until tender. Leave to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Do not reheat. Please remove all packaging before cooking/defrosting.
