usually buy one or two a week. On a budget so its a good price whilst cooking you can drain some fat away before adding other ingredients and finishing cooking. I use for pie .lasagne. dumpling'pie'. cottage etc .
it doesn't go chewy like some .
if you don't mind fat try it . if you do don't buy mince .
I have bought this item in the past and it is normally good quality, however I was about to use this item to cook a lasagne for our dinner and it had completely changed colour, it was brown/grey and smelt awful.
It was still 2 days within its use by date!!
Straight in the bin.
I bought this after reading the reviews as I usually buy the 5% lean beef mince. I cooked the mince and drained the fat off it and used it in a spaghetti bolognaise. Four empty plates, including the kids, with one who usually refuses mince after finding gristle /jelly. All meat, so tasty and will definitely be buying again.
