Microwave - From Ambient. Cat E 900w 40 sec
Remove the lid and place loosely on top of pot. Heat in the microwave for 30 seconds, stir gently with a spoon. Heat for a further 10 seconds and stir again. Repeat until a spreadable consistency is achieved. Use to fill, bind, or top your bakes and allow to cool. Add milk at this stage if a softer consistency is required. Bain Marie: Boil pan of water, empty caramel into a heat proof bowl, place on top of pan of water and keep stirring until it is smooth and warm throughout. Be careful not ot overheat.
