Storage

Yes, they are more expensive, pound for pound with standard bacon, but the time it saves if you don't want fat, it's more than worth it.
They may be reduced fat (a consequence of having no rind), but it would also be an idea to reduce the amount of water in the product - no doubt to increase its weight.
When cooked in a frying pan, they are poached, as opposed to fried. I had to soak up the excess water in the pan with paper kitchen roll.

Usually lovely meaty and tasty bacon - however not always lean. You do just get just the round section but it sometimes has a lot of fat marbled through it.
