This product is a very strange pink colour, even after cooking it still remains pink Haddock is a white fish not pink WHY ???
random size pieces
The first time I bought these, they were lovely big chunky pieces and made a beautiful fish curry. I have bought this a few times since then, but the pieces can be small. Not good enough to feed a family of 4 and this time the pieces just fell apart in the curry. Disappointed because it was a good find, especially as we try to add more fish to our diet. Hope Morrisons revamps this product & increases the portions to feed a family.
not for me
Have been ordering 2 fresh haddock fillets for a long time now, I breadcrumb them myself and freeze them. These are not a replacement, 3.5 frozen pieces of various sizes in the bag. What has happened to the fresh fish ?
Cooked this from frozen in a fish curry, using my instant pot, and it turned out great! Big meaty fish.
Dry and randomly sized
Don't understand how all 4 pieces of fish can vary so much in size. When cooking for a family how does this help. The wafer thin bits fell apart within seconds and the chunky bits were still frozen. Every time I have bought these they have been the same. So fed up of wasting my money
So far, very good.
I have tried only one packet and it was surprised how good it was. Let's hope it's consistent. The packets are fairly transparent, so I check the colour of the fish before buying. If I find any signs of greyness I won't buy; redness is OK.
