It all started with William Lea almost 350 years ago, when mother nature provided power to turn our first mill stone. 15 generations later she's still powering our mill.
Mighty Oats are still milled by James & Edward Lea using the positive power of nature. We work together with our farmers to make sure we leave our planet a better place for future generations.

awesome
Great oats and really strong ethical company ethos - whats not to like?
mouldy
don't buy. real gut pain and night sweats. It smelled and looked like I saw dust. Bin the lot.
Best oats around
I love these oats, I always make my porridge with water and these are so creamy. I don't know what people are doing for them to be hard. A good amount of water and 2 mins in the microwave and these come out perfect every time.
OK, but
I don't find these any better than the cheaper value brands, maybe a bit more creamy, but that's it. The last bag of this I had smelt and tasted of mould. Returned to manufacturer where It's being investigated and tested. It's soooo put me off of this brand so I'm changing to Scott's old fashioned porridge to see if that's OK. I'm now out of pocket to the tune of £3 and no porridge, which I use daily for breakfast and add to cooking.
Top Porridge Flavour!
I've tried them all & without a doubt these are the best. If cooked properly, rich, creamy with a great texture. Soak before cooking to allow oats to absorb water. Add milk, microwave 2 mins, stir, add milk if necessary & finish for 90 secs. Perfect!
Nice taste but oats are hard
these oats need to be soaked longer tha n normal so they are definitely not "fast". However once soaked they taste good.
