The majority of the fruit for this wine was sourced from premium vineyards within South Australia. The continental climate ensured a hot growing season resulting in long sunny days and noticeably cooler nights. The combination of these conditions allowed this vintage to develop into an optimal vintage, delivering wines of intense fruit depth and natural acidity

Preparation And Usage

A classic fruit driven Shiraz bursting with aromas of dark fruits and spice, this full-bodied wine is best served with a range of rich and hearty red meat or pasta dishes.

Vinification Details

The fruit from this batch was crushed and de-stemmed where a portion of the wine was transferred onto oak in temperature controlled environments to maximise fruit flavour and retention. A selected yeast strain was also added during this process. Post fermentation, the majority of the wine is matured in stainless steel tanks with a percentage of the wine transferred onto French & American oak for further maturation.
