Oven cook - From Ambient. Pre-heat oven to 170°C, 325°F, Gas Mark 4, Fan Assisted 160°C Season with meat. In a pan, fry and brown the meat over a medium heat. Place in an oven proof dish, cover with stock and add vegetables. Cover with foil and cook in the oven for 2 1/2-3 hours. Alternatively this can be cooked on the hob for 2 1/2-3 hours. Cooking appliances vary.
