The vineyards around the village of Cairanne, situated in the Southern Rhône produce wines of great quality, acknowledged by its cru status. Here the hand-picked grapes; Grenache Noir, Carignan Noir and Syrah are vinified with a touch of oak to produce a wine of real personality. Rich, fruity and appealing, the palate is smooth and full-bodied with a luscious texture through to the finish.

To make this Cairanne, our winemaker, Eric, uses traditional vinification techniques - indigenous yeast and a long cuvaison period, followed by maturation in mostly old French oak barrels to
develop great concentration, complexity and finesse in the wine.

Great Wine.

This is a very nice wine well worth the money I paid. It has a powerful bouquet combined with a rich and fruity taste. I will most likely get another bottle as I think this will go with a mild cheese. This was a thoroughly enjoyable wine

Lovely bottle of wine. Goes with or without food. Very drinkable.
